This letter normally is addressed to Jefferson County and is submitted as part of a permit application. It outlines your location, access to the property and confirms that you are "in district" and the department "will serve" you.

There is a $50 fee for the letter, which can be paid at  https://secure.colorado.gov/payment/ffpd Select "Will Serve Letter"  from the drop down menu.

Once you have paid the fee, please send an email to fireinspector@foothillsfire.org containing the receipt (to expedite the process), along with

• Nature of Project 
  • Short Term Rental
  • New Build Construction
  • Tenant Remodel
  • Home Remodel
  • New Driveway
• Plans (if available)
• Contact Details of Requestor

Normally these will take 3 - 4 business days to depending on what's in the queue. However, recently they have been taking 5-7 due to increased volumes related to Short Term Rentals and Jeffco process changes.
